Sandra's very understandable
book for therapists and
clients has over 100 original
cartoons to describe the treatment
of ego state disorders and
dissociation using
ego state therapy and EMDR.
Sandra and Ulrich Lanius wrote a chapter in Robin Shapiro's book EMDR Solutions II (Norton) about the artful combination of EMDR, somatic therapy and ego state therapy.
Lanius and Paulsen are currently working on a book to expand these ideas. It will be published through Springer in 2011. It will combine leading edge neuroscientific findings with these three leading edge clinical methods. Stay tuned!
Sandra has a chapter in this book by Forgash & Copely that describes the phases of therapy in the acronym ACT-AS-IF, and the steps in EMDR for a dissociative client, in the acronym ARCHITECTS.
